Once again the Girls played excellent Volleyball and all of their hard
worked turned to GOLD. The morning`s first game however was not the
type of game they have been used to playing as they all looked like
they were still in love with their pillows. Riverview capitalized on the
lethargic play of the girls by out playing them in all aspects of the game.
They dropped their only loss to a very well coached and well disciplined
team from Rainy River. The loss kinda gave them a wake up call and
turned their game up a notch to breeze through the rest of the round
robin Schedule. After all round robin games have been played, once
again they found themselves facing the Riverview team to see who was
going to the Gold medal game. The game against Riverview I thought
ended up to be the best game that was played all throughout the
tournament. The girls were definitely up for this game as they were
firing on all cylinders and demonstrated their skills to come up with the
victory.
