Another very successful tournament for the girls
The day started off with a win over JW Walker which was pretty good
considering the time the girls had to get up to make the first game.
The Girls however lost a critical game against St Francis which
clearly placed them in second after round robin play. The structure
of the finals had the 2 second place winners from each pool play for
the Bronze and the top 2 first place winners play for the gold.
Despite this minor setback, the girls played extremely well and
showed the spectators some pretty fine volleyball. The loss taught
the girls a valuable lesson in showing up for all games and now have
a focus for the Regionals in December.
