The Mine Centre Thunderbirds played really well in the Crossroads Invitational and have improved
significantly compared to the tournament in Atikokan
The boys are starting to improve playing the Bump, Pass and Hit Volleyball.
Serving mistakes and at times botched passing caused them to give up some valuable points to
decide some very close games.
After the boys played all of their games through the Round Robin round, they were watching other
results to see if they were in for a medal. Unfortunately it wasnt meant to be and were eliminated
from the medal round by a very narrow margin.
The boys indeed displayed a team that can excel to become a contender.
The Lil Guys on the team are Definately gonna make the Thunderbirds shine in the years to come.
